Cosmo Textile Dictionary

Textile manufacturing and textile products are so universal in their scope and use that virtually every of present-day life touches or is touched by them. There has long been need for a dictionary of textile terms, comprehensively and accurately covering the terminology of textile manufacturing and its products, for use by persons engaged in the textile industry and in the related industries and professions. This need has been accentuated by the rapid and far-reaching development of the past few years – years in which a whole new terminology has been added to the vocabulary of the industry. This volume represents an effort to supply that need.
