Indian Mythology

To supply one of the wants, the author has written this Indian Mythology according to the great Indian epics. For the first ever time the matter has been seen with the eye of an historian, and not with that of philosopher, consequently avoiding all reasoning and philosophising. On the whole making it an endeavour to make the exposition as objective as possible by always appealing to the word of the text itself and, so to say, let it speak for itself. This view of the Indian Mythology, it will be seen, has principally been ethnographical-historical.
The author translated the text as literally as possible and tried not to be influenced by the opinions and views of the others. The author gives a vivid account of the ASURAS, DAITYAS, DANAVAS, NAGAS, RAX ASAS, SURAS, ADITYAS, BRHAMA, SURYA etc. and goes on to explain the TRINITY or the TRIMURTY.
