Indian Images

Our knowledge of Indian Iconography is still very much immature, the study is progressive and will continue to remain progressive. Some bright work has been done by Gopinath Rao and O. C. Gan guli in their “Hindu Iconography” and “South Indian Bronzes”, but still a very systematic study of the subject has to be made to meet the growing demands of the students and scholars on ancient Indian History and Iconography.
