This is the second edition of this valuable book the first edition of which was prescribed as a text book for schools in West Bengal. Maulvi Abdul Karim was the President of the Muhammadan Educational Conference apart from being the Honorary Fellow of the University of Calcutta. He was also the President of the Bengal Muslim League and a member of the Bengal Legislative Council.

The book is an attempt to present the true message and teachings of the Prophet, and to refute the false imputation made against Hazrat Muhammad by prejudiced critics.
