Dictionary of the Economic Products of India

This is a monumental work written by a pioneer Naturalist of his time. This is the most authentic, comprehensive and valuable work on the Economic Products of India and its adjacent countries including Ceylon, Nepal, brume, Bhutan Tibet, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The alphabetical arrangement of the dictionary is based upon the scientific names of the animals, plants and minerals and deals with complete utilization of each one of them. The dictionary is the most useful work of reference and serves as nucleus of an extended and systematic enquiry into the productive resources of India. It has more than 20,000 entries and 180 distinguished scholars have collaborated in its preparation. The dictionary runs into six volumes, the last volume containing four parts and in addition there is an index volume. In all it has 10 parts.
