Indian Wisdom

In adopting the term “Indian Wisdom” as title for the present work, the learned author wishes at the outset to make it clear that, although his object is to the best of the Indian writings, yet it may not be possible for the author to give all the material in a single volume. The author is fully conscious of the richness of the luxuriance and varied character of Sanskrit literature. The author, who is considered an authority on Sanskrit and comparative literature, has given in fifteen chapters his study and interpretation of The Hymns of the Vedas, The Brahmans and Upanishdas, The Systems of Philosophy, Indian Epics, The Ramayana and Mahabharata, Dramas, Teantras, Laws of Manu etc; etc. It is indeed a pleasure for the publishers to present this masterpiece on Indian literature, religion and philosophy to the reader.
